Departure from the historic center (Piazza Umberto I) - after a few meters, we can find the ceramics school of the Master Potters of Appignano. Then, we will head towards the Coppo trail to visit the spring. From here, we continue towards Grottaccia for 8 km, passing through the Botontan hamlet. Next, we ascend towards Avenale, where we'll reach the highest point of the route, and there we can find a refreshment spot.
We begin the descent towards the quarries of Cingoli, and after about a kilometer, we turn towards San Lorenzo. After another 3 km, we turn again in the direction of Grottaccia, where we'll resume the road back home, concluding our route once again in the square.
