Let's start from the Montegiorgio viewpoint ... our cycling tour will develop on the beautiful hills of Fermano that embrace the towns and villages of the Hat District. These small villages, each perched on a hill, were formed following the need of the population to defend themselves from external invasions. For this reason, steep slopes have been exploited and the streets of the historic centers trace the hill ridge or the contour lines and all are equipped with boundary walls. Montappone with the Hat Museum, Massa Fermana with the Sant'Antonio door and the polyptych by Carlo Crivelli constitute a unique and unprecedented itinerary in which there will also be the opportunity to visit and buy in a company shop of a well-known manufacturer of hats for then return to Montegiorgio.
