What we present here is the Marche section of the Adriatic Cycle Route.
We at NoiMarcheBikeLife have carefully mapped it, introducing a few variations to overcome critical points and offer a safer and more enjoyable travel experience, while awaiting the completion of the full route.
It starts in Gabicce Mare, climbing to Gabicce Monte to cross the Monte San Bartolo Park, then descending to Pesaro, where Bicipolitana guides you on the urban cycle paths. The route continues with coastal and mixed stretches, touching on Fano, Senigallia and Falconara Marittima, where it veers into the hills to avoid the SS16 and reach Ancona safely.
From here you take the Conero cycle path to Portonovo, then by road to Sirolo, Numana and Porto Recanati. In Civitanova Marche, a long protected cycle path begins as far as the Chienti river, where a cycle-pedestrian bridge is being built to connect to Porto Sant’Elpidio, Porto San Giorgio and Pedaso.
A diversion of a few kilometres on the state road leads to Cupra Marittima, from where you continue to San Benedetto del Tronto, passing through Grottammare.
A journey combining sea, history and discovery. Because any journey that begins with the sea can only take you far.
