A few minutes from the town you can see one of the most enchanting and certainly the most characteristic places in Penna San Giovanni: the SALINE PARK, whose territory extends to the sources of the Salino river of the same name. A splendid park with green meadows, lush aquatic vegetation, natural ponds, with special areas equipped for excellent picnics. Walking along the whispered roar of the water you can see the so-called “ALBERGO Gentilucci”, former spa center, as well as the old spa water distribution plant. Overlooking the Salino stream is the imposing bridge that rises over the original salt extraction "wells", famous for the so-called “Pozzo Poderoso”, so called for its dizzying depth. Meeting point at Largo Giuseppe Garibaldi. Proceed along a mixed route towards the Salino river to arrive to skirt the Tenna river with arrival at the starting point.
