Water becomes manifestly crucial in the 'Terre Artigiane Museum' of Mogliano: a great example of cultural syncretism that shows the relationship between the men and the environment in which they work. Inspired by Article 9 of the Italian Constitution, this museum, which also spreads to the neighboring municipalities of Petriolo, Loro Piceno and Urbisaglia, proposes a new interpretation of the territory, starting from the natural heritage and the many uses that artisans make of it, respecting environmental sustainability.
The museum is organized into four exhibition halls dedicated to the geophysical and hydrologic features of the region, to the natural resources available to men and to the local craftsmanship. An entire section is dedicated to technological, social and environmental innovation, offering a moment of reflection on the new frontiers of mobility and sustainability in the exploitation of the territory.
The Museum also organizes events in several artisan workshops of the area, giving cyclists the opportunity to get in touch with the practical and authentic reality of the Marche region.
