A building of significant importance for the territory of Mogliano is the Monastery of San Giuseppe, the only building administered by Benedictine nuns in the town. The building also includes the Church of San Giuseppe, formerly dedicated to Saint Benedict and Saint Scolastica, and Saint Crisogono before them. The main altar boasts a precious painting inspired by a work by Giulio Romano.
The ancient church of S. Nicola di Bari is located near the Monastery. The church was mentioned for the first time in a deed of 1218, stipulated between Fildesmido and the Monteverde family. The first certain reference is a document dated 3 May 1272 drawn up "in the church of San Nicola located within the city walls of Mogliano". In 1574, the Confraternita del Corpo di Cristo was entrusted by Pope Gregory XIII with the administration of the chapel; in 1748, the church underwent some architectural transformations and since 1989, the Municipality has been using it as an auditorium. The interior boasts a main altar in scagliola and several paintings by artists like Alessandro Ricci and Giuseppe Ghezzi. One painting by Giuseppe Bottani, realized in 1761, represents the blessed Pietro da Mogliano among other saints.
